About Our Board & Train Services
We handle most behavioural issues, ranging from the most severe cases of aggression and anxiety to the most annoying and frustrating examples of overexcitement and bratty pup behaviours. Whether it’s a dangerous or terrified rescue or the sweetest new addition to your home, we’ve got you covered. The results of all our training programs are roughly the same. The Mellow Vibes Dog Training Board & Train Process
One-on-One Consultation
This is where we determine the program that’s right for you and your dog. This is where we do a deep dive into what you’re experiencing with your dog. From here we quote you an exact price, provide actionable insights, and give an estimate for the length of training.
Full Board & Train Program
Your dog spends as many weeks as necessary to achieve the results discussed in step one. We address any issues on leash, socializing with dogs, and ensure your dog is responsive to all standard commands. We keep you in the loop and let you know how progress is coming along.
3-5 Hour Pickup Session
All our training programs include a 3-5 hour session in which we teach you all you need to know to maintain what your dog has learned. In addition, we offer unlimited follow-up for the rest of your dogs life for absolutely free.
Free Follow-up Support For Life!
Seriously. We offer free support on all training services for the lifetime of your pup. We ask all of our graduates to stay in touch by phone or email for at least the first few weeks, and to come back in, for free, to work with us in sessions if ever the need arises.

General Training Services
General Dog Obedience Training
General Obedience is suitable for the majority of dogs and puppies without more serious behavioural issues. This program focuses on walking properly on leash, teaching all commands necessary for casual dog owners, and unlearning unwanted behaviours. We teach you and your dog absolutely everything you’ll need to know for a happy and stress-free relationship!

Puppy House
Training
You only left your little pup alone for 5 minutes. You return to a wet yellow puddle right in the middle of your new carpet. Such is the life of a new puppy owner. What if you could just hand this phase of your pup’s development to some other sucker? Let us be that sucker! We deal with housebreaking as part of any of our training packages.

Safe Bike Running Dog Training
Exercise is integral for a dog’s wellbeing, but who really wants to walk around for an hour when you’ve got a busy schedule? 10-15 minutes running alongside your bike is a fun and efficient way to exercise your dog. We will teach your dog to run safely alongside your bike as an add-on to any of our training packages.

Dog Aggression & Anxiety Training Services
Dog Anxiety / Fear
Rehabilitation
For those unfortunate dogs suffering from anxiety and fearfulness. Examples include separation anxiety, fear of certain people/dogs/things, and general skittishness. These are serious issues that take significant time and nuance to address effectively. There’s no rushing these dogs. These are often among the most difficult behaviours to help your dog through.

Dog Aggression Rehabilitation
Dogs in need of rehabilitation for aggressive tendencies take a great deal of knowledge and experience to work with safely and effectively. This program caters to those whose aggression is geared exclusively towards their fellow canines. Examples include resource guarding, reactivity on leash, and barking / lunging / growling, both on and off leash. Dog aggression is often based in some form of fear or insecurity, often the result of poor early socialization.

Human Aggression Rehabilitation
For dogs who are a danger towards people in one way or another. Whether resource guarding, lunging at certain types of people, or territorial aggression, it takes an experienced trainer to safely handle these dogs, as well as to effectively address these issues. Like dog aggression, human aggression is often based in some form of fear or insecurity, often the result of poor socialization and a lack of structure.

Ranging from roll over to play dead, we can have your pup performing party tricks you can show off to your friends and family.
